Defining and Plumping Lips with Juvederm®

Within the Juvederm® category of dermal fillers, Volbella® and Ultra are the options ideal for temporary lip enhancement: Ultra adds fullness to the lips and reduces laugh lines, while Volbella® is a very light, spreadable product that is ideal for “finishing touches” and modest changes to the lips. Volbella® also smooths over delicate lipstick lines, also known as smoker’s lines. A small amount can be injected into the cupid’s bow (curve of the upper lip) or along the vermillion border (edge of the lip) to create the illusion of more volume.
All Juvederm® products contain hyaluronic acid (a transparent, moisture-regulating substance found naturally in the body). This is how they attract and bind to water to thicken the skin. The fillers are known for their ability to reduce the severity of moderate to severe wrinkles, particularly in the middle and lower parts of the face.
