DIAMONDGLOW^® BASICS

DiamondGlow^® is a three-in-one, minimally invasive skin resurfacing procedure that involves exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of serums.

First, the skin is professionally exfoliated with a precision, diamond-tipped device to remove the dead, uneven top layers. This involves application of a topical numbing cream, followed by an experienced provider moving the diamond-tipped wand across the skin to polish the surface by removing uneven or pigmented cells.

Next, a suction mechanism is used to extract the skin cells that have been exfoliated. As the dead skin is being gently sloughed away, the three-in-one device simultaneously infuses the skin with topical cosmetic serums at the moment when pores are open and most receptive. Five different serums are available so that the treatment can be custom-tailored for each patient’s goals.

The DiamondGlow^® treatment itself takes only around 30 minutes to be completed. Another advantage? There is no downtime required. There may be slight redness and swelling just after a session, but these minor side effects resolve within a few hours.

TIPS FOR GETTING THE BEST RESULTS WITH DIAMONDGLOW^®

Prior to having DiamondGlow^®, patients should not apply Retin-A or other exfoliating creams to their skin for one to three days, avoid tanning and waxing for one weeks, and discontinue chemical peels and injectables for two to three weeks before their session.
