Mukta Rane RN-BC is a board-certified registered nurse who joined the Burnett Plastic Surgery team in 2019 as our aesthetic nurse injector. Upon graduating from Syracuse University, she found herself in the trenches of the dot.com boom in New York City. She worked on various online advertising campaigns for high-profile companies such as Maybelline and Coca-Cola during her stint as a marketing project manager. Although the job was exciting and gratifying, Mukta decided she wanted to handle new challenges affecting healthcare and decided to return to school, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, from The College of New Jersey.

She is very much focused on continuing her education and is always learning and studying new techniques and procedures so she can feel confident about delivering the best results to her patients. Mukta is also a board-certified psychiatric nurse with over 15 years of experience in working with Geri-psych patients. She is known for her witty one-liners and "bringing in the sunshine" at work. When Mukta isn't working, she enjoys vacationing at her favorite destination spot - Puerto Rico, with her husband and two children. She loves all things sand, sun, and surf, eating spicy cuisines from all over the world, and if you don't find her at the beach, this busy mom is cheering on her daughter and son at their competitive dance and Tae Kwon Do competitions.
