Patricia Burnett, RN, BSN, Practice and Operations Manager

Combining her extensive nursing experience with a sincere desire to care for others, Patricia has created the welcoming, nurturing, and patient-focused environment for which Burnett Plastic Surgery is known. She has worked in many different areas of nursing, most recently in the Ambulatory Surgery Center at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, where she handled a variety of plastic surgery cases, ranging from breast implants to rhinoplasty.
Patricia was born in London, England and moved to the US as a teenager. Her experience as a sickly child who spent many weeks in the hospital inspired her to become a nurse. She has been with the practice since the very beginning. Patricia holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Hunter College in NYC. Her clinical background includes many years in Critical Care as a Senior Nurse Clinician at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC, the PACU at UCLA's Same-Day Surgery Center as well as in Risk Management at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC. She developed her love for and experience in plastic surgery while working with recovering cosmetic surgery patients at UCLA.
Her mission is to create a working environment for the team that is collaborative and familial. Each team member is empowered to make independent decisions that enhance our patients' experience and align with the values of our practice.
She is currently enjoying life as an empty nester, as her two adult children are living independently. Her favorite pastimes include morning neighborhood walks, reading historical fiction and memoirs, and any TV show by Shonda Rimes. She especially loves walking the streets of NYC and attending Broadway musicals.

Liz Cofone, Patient Coordinator
Liz Cofone has been our Patient Coordinator for the past 10 years. She has a real knowledge of the pulse of the office. She interacts with patients on the phone as well as during their consultations and office visits.
Liz provides complimentary phone consultations with potential patients, providing the necessary information on a particular procedure of their interest. She is responsible for scheduling patients for surgery. She prides herself on guiding patients throughout their surgical journey, so that they are comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. From your first initial phone call to booking your surgery and addressing your concerns, she will be your point of contact and is always available for any questions. She has a passion for the world of plastic surgery and self-improvement. She witnesses the transformation and overall well-being that provides confidence and success in the lives of our patients.
Liz is proud to support Dr. Carlos Burnett in changing people's lives. She is grateful to work with a man who is such a visionary in the field of Plastic Surgery and who genuinely cares for his patients and their outcomes.
Before joining the practice, Liz was the co-owner of Wish Upon a Cake, a specialty gift business in Westfield, NJ. She also was the Assistant Purchasing Director at Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, a civil engineering company in New York City. She was responsible for corporate purchases and provided employee services for the company.
Liz is an aspiring artist who has a passion for the arts. She enjoys going to museums, traveling, and surrounding herself with creativity and artistry. Consequently, she has a flair for decorating and gardening. She loves cooking, Nancy Meyers movies, and secretly would love her own cooking show. This all adds to her aesthetic eye for plastic surgery. Liz is a Jersey girl born and raised in Hoboken, NJ, the birthplace of baseball and Frank Sinatra. Being so close to NYC has connected Liz to her love of people as well as city life. It has shaped her into the person she is today.
Mukta Rane, RN, BSN, Nurse Injector
Mukta Rane RN-BC is a board-certified registered nurse who joined the Burnett Plastic Surgery team in 2019 as our aesthetic nurse injector. Upon graduating from Syracuse University, she found herself in the trenches of the dot.com boom in New York City. She worked on various online advertising campaigns for high-profile companies such as Maybelline and Coca-Cola during her stint as a marketing project manager. Although the job was exciting and gratifying, Mukta decided she wanted to handle new challenges affecting healthcare and decided to return to school, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, from The College of New Jersey.
Mukta is fully licensed in the State of New Jersey and has had countless hours of training and supervision under board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Carlos Burnett, as well as training and guidance under independent Allergan trainers. Mukta has attended various courses on facial anatomy, Allergan product and technique instruction, non-invasive body contouring training, and skincare and product education.
Mukta is also a board-certified psychiatric nurse with over 15 years of experience in working with Geri-psych patients. She is known for her witty one-liners and "bringing in the sunshine" at work. When Mukta isn't working, she enjoys vacationing at her favorite destination spot - Puerto Rico, with her husband and two children. She loves all things sand, sun, and surf, eating spicy cuisines from all over the world, and if you don't find her at the beach, this busy mom is cheering on her daughter and son at their competitive dance and Tae Kwon Do competitions.
Jessica Arredondo, Medical Receptionist
Jessica spent many years in the Orthodontic field before taking a change in career paths in November 2021. She fell in love with everything to do with the Plastics field and every aspect of her job right away. She loves being as personable as she is with each one of her patients. It brings her joy to be a part of our cosmetic patients' journeys, from their initial consultations to the end of their surgeries, and during their recovery process. Being able to watch the transformation and confidence that comes from our injectable patients is such an empowering feeling for her. She considers the relationship between our patients and staff to be truly special.
In addition to her unique relationship with her patients, Jessica also enjoys working side by side every day with the other ladies and our amazing Dr. Burnett. She does not only consider them coworkers, but believes they have a genuine family dynamic that makes her so grateful to come to work every day!
In her free time, Jessica is typically doing Mom things with her two daughters, Sophia and Sydney. She loves all things DYI and is always finding new projects to challenge herself with. She loves to read a great book in her downtime, and she also loves to educate herself on different things that will better her future. Jessica is all about positivity and growth and continues to look forward to what is to come at Burnett Plastic Surgery!
Cynthia Rico, LPN
Cynthia is a compassionate, optimistic, and hopeless romantic first-generation Honduran woman. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Cynthia spent her summers in Honduras, staying connected to her family and culture. During her time there, she volunteered as a nurse at San Felipe Hospital in Tegucigalpa, deepening her commitment to healthcare. With 10 years of experience in correctional nursing, she has dedicated her career to serving diverse communities. She has also contributed to public health efforts by helping to vaccinate the community at Kean University during the COVID-19 pandemic. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, visiting parks, and most of all, spending time at the beach. Cooking while listening to 80s music and Spanish pop is one of her favorite ways to unwind. This is her first experience in the field of plastic surgery, and she is excited to bring her life experience and diverse background to support Dr. Burnett in delivering the highest quality care. She also hopes to be a trusted confidant for her patients, providing them with compassionate support and a sense of optimism as they navigate their personal journey. Her favorite quote is "It is never too late to become what you might have been."
